On Saturday, May 18. the Alcazar Theatre, 4916 Carpinteria Ave, Carpinteria, CA, will present the concert event of the year, America’s #1 Johnny Cash Tribute, Mighty Cash Cats plus Linda Ronstadt Tribute, Silver Threads. The show starts at 7:30 pm. Mighty Cash Cats will cover all six decades of Cash’s career including fun Johnny and June duets. Just returned from concerts in Las Vegas and Palm Springs, the Alcazar Theatre will be one of the band’s final US shows before their June Europe Tour, with the first stop in Ireland.

Opening will be the Linda Ronstadt Tribute, Silver Threads doing a set of some of Linda’s greatest hits. Linda’s live album, Live in Hollywood, is back on the charts, and a new movie about her is about to be released. The Alcazar Theatre, built in the 1920’s, has excellent acoustics, and recently refurbished with state of the art sound and lights.
