UC Berkeley Student Group: We Oppose Cops PROTECTING Us From Terrorist Attacks

Too bad that one of the entrance requirements to attend UC Berkeley is not common sense or a survival instinct. For generations Cal students have opposed wars against totalitarian nations, communists (sorry about being redundant), dictators or terrorists. Now the ASUC Senate has voted to oppose COPS training to protect students at the campus from terrorists attacks. Guess the drugs they smoke on campus are so strong; it has given them a death wish.

““Ceasing UCPD participation in Urban Shield would be an important step to demilitarize the university,” said John Lindsay-Poland, co-sponsor of the resolution and wage peace coordinator at a local office of advocacy organization American Friends Service Committee in an email. “UCPD should commit to institutionalizing training that is sensitive to communities of color…and remove assault weapons, armored personnel carriers, and other militarized material from its deployment equipment.”

Are they going to offer pot to the terrorists—or allow the terrorists to rape the women on campus in exchange for no guns? The good news, I hope, is that the radical Obamaite in charge of the University, the infamous Janet Napolitano—with a record of allowing terrorists into this nation without Border Guards stopping them, might consider protecting students. In Texas college students are allowed to carry guns on campus to protects themselves—at Cal the students do not even want the cops to be equipped to protect them The bad news for Cal students: terrorists can read and know that UC Berkeley is an easy target.
