Unique Events to Benefit the Santa Paula Art Museum in Salsa Festival Fundraiser

Santa Paula will be the site of a unique series of upcoming events benefiting the Santa Paula Art Museum as it vies for the top spot in the Oxnard Salsa Festival’s “Dancing with Our Community Stars” Dance Contest and Charity Fundraiser. Local stars Seana-Marie Sesma and salsero Lovie Hernandez are representing the Museum in the competition. The community is invited to support the Museum in the contest by attending two very special events: “Lovie’s Move-N-Groove” on Saturday, viagra 100mg July 23, 2016, and “Garman’s Poker Night” on Saturday, August 6, 2016. Proceeds from these events will benefit the Santa Paula Art Museum’s ArtSPARK youth education program, which serves thousands of local students each year.

Get moving and grooving at Lovie’s Latin Studio on Saturday, July 23, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. At “Lovie’s Move-N-Groove,” guests can attend any number of four different movement classes, including Salsa Aerobics with Lovie Hernandez at 10:00 a.m., Zumba with Elixio Flores at 11:00 a.m., Belly Dancing with Shiva Germchi at 11:45 a.m., and a Yoga Fitness Party with Margaux Bangs at 12:30 p.m. Each class is 30 minutes long with a 15 minute break between each class. “Garman’s Poker Night” will be hosted by Garman’s Restaurant and Irish Pub on Saturday, August 6, 2016. The seven-card stud game begins at 7:30 p.m. with a $50.00 buy in. Dinner and drink specials will be offered from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (no-host). Players are encouraged to reserve their seat at the poker table by visiting www.santapaulaartmuseum.org/salsa.html. Garman’s Restaurant and Irish Pub is located at 932 E Main Street in downtown Santa Paula.

The community can also support the Museum in the Oxnard Salsa Festival competition by making a donation to its ArtSPARK youth education program. The Santa Paula Art Museum is located at 117 North 10th Street in downtown Santa Paula.
