The Central Ventura County Fire Safe Council has two wildfire prevention programs available for Somis coming up in August.

Saturday, August 1 – Drop-off Chipper Event at the RCD building, which will include a demonstration of fire-safe landscaping.
Saturday, August 8 – Curbside Chipper Event at the HOA in Somis Groves.

These events are free to the community and the first 25 participants will receive a cool “tool-kit” for participating.
