Urban Pizza makes its “healthy” debut in Simi Valley with the “Gift of Giving”

The vision was to create a healthy modern day “Neapolitan & Artesian Style” pizza place that would appeal to today’s Urbanites. Urban Pizza (UP) was strategically developed to include dietary requirements of Gluten Free, Vegan and Organic options from “Your Creations to Our Ovens”. The long awaited grand opening debut of this very classic modern restaurant is June 18th, 19th, 20th, 2015 open from 11:00am to 9:00pm located at 2916 Tapo Canyon Rd, Simi Valley, CA 93063 in the Pavilions’ Shopping Center.

The ‘UP’ Grand Opening June 18th and 19th festivities includes many merchandize giveaways The first 88 customers who purchase a pizza on the grand opening day, will receive a gift card with an undisclosed cash value and an entry into the Grand Prize.

Saturday, June 20 h, radio station California Country 100.7 KHAY, will be hosting from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM and will be serving $.88 cent pizza’s. Many prizes will be awarded as the Grand Prize of an $888.00 gift card, many free pizza’s, and 8 prize winners of “Create Your Own” (C.Y.O.) FREE PIZZA FOR A YEAR. Free Balloons for all the Kids.

“The theme of “Giving” comes from a desire to better our community with good thoughts, so we imprinted these good thoughts on our plates being served. There will be an occasional random plate that has the words “Free for You” or “Not for You” for a Free Dessert which the guest will pass that plate on to another guest in the restaurant and they get a free dessert on “Giving Tuesdays” states Barry Thomas, Corporate marketing manager for the newly opened Urban Pizza’s. “We want this “Giving” to catch on, paying it forward in both our Westlake and Simi Valley locations.” Thomas continues.

UP’s menu includes 11” pizza pies for $10.88 with 10 Classic designs or “C.Y.O.” International flares with unlimited organic toppings, and 6” pies for the kids. Create your own salads, unlimited organic ingredients, with vegan cheeses, and gluten free options too. There are chicken wings, specialty desserts and FREE Gelato. UP only serves “Puck” all natural soft drinks, and draft and domestic and international bottle beer and wine.

Another specialty of UP’s aim, is to give parents a break on costs, by letting kids eat free on Sundays.
