Ways You Can Help

Donate A Gift Card Or Host A Gift Card Drive

As the majority of the youth we serve are teenagers, they especially love receiving gift cards as this allows for a special experience – whether it be an off-campus outing for ice cream, a Target run or an online shopping experience! Gift cards help provide normalcy for children who are experiencing circumstances that are anything but normal. More than just an opportunity for a day of fun, off-site activities can also be used as motivation. To be eligible, youth must meet certain program and behavioral expectations. The prospect of a fun trip can be just the motivation some youth need!

Fulfill an Ongoing Need

Support the basic, year-round needs of the children we serve and the children that will be admitted into our care through out the year. Every four hours, a new child is admitted into our programs—many of them come to us with nothing. We are responsible for outfitting them with everything they will need and those items are for them to keep when they leave Casa Pacifica. Because of this, items like new bedding, hygiene products, new clothing and undergarments and household items are always desperately needed. In addition to basic needs, we are always in need of the “fun items” like art supplies, electronics, gaming systems, movies, video games and various toys and sporting goods.

Fulfill A Child’s Christmas Wish

Each of our campus children are able to wish for five presents for their Christmas gifts – three needs and two wants. Typically, the needs are items like clothing, special hygiene products, school supplies and bedding, whereas, the wants are more of the fun items like electronics, special hygiene or makeup products, a specific pair of nice shoes, etc.
Together with their staff, they fill out our holiday wish list form and from each child’s Christmas wish list, we write each wish individually on a Dove ornament with the child’s name, age, and gender. You fulfill the wish and return the gift unwrapped to our campus with the Dove attached.

With offices in Santa Barbara and Santa Maria, Casa Pacifica has been providing county-wide services in Santa Barbara County since 2003: in-home, in-school and in the community services to more than 100 children and families each day.
