Join your guide Gary Blum and photographer Larry Lytle in an historical and photographic tour of downtown Oxnard. After the tour, Lytle will take the class around the city center to photograph its architectural gems both large and small. As we shoot we’ll be looking at the aesthetics of photographing buildings and their interesting details.

On the following day, the class will reassemble to see each other’s photographs and discuss the ins and outs of photographic editing using digital projection. All that is required is a digital camera.

Larry Lytle is a fine art and commercial photographer living in Los Angeles. He is also a lecturer in art at California State University Channel Islands and is a contributing writer to Black & White magazine.
