Vagrant attempts to break in Ventura Home

On August 6th at 12:50 PM a male subject, Alexis Garcia (4-1-94) vagrant, opened the victim’s sliding screen door and attempted to open the sliding glass door. The victim does not know Garcia and shouted for him to leave. Garcia continued to try to open the glass sliding door, but it was locked. Garcia gave up and began walking away when the victim called 911.

Arriving Patrol officers located Garcia in the area and arrested him. Garcia was transported to the Ventura County Jail and booked for Residential Burglary. Garcia was arrested and booked at Ventura County Jail on 8/5/20 for giving false information to a police officer and possession of drug paraphernalia and was released from VCJ today (8/6/20).
