Vagrants arrested for burglary in Ventura
ailment times; font-size: 16px;”>Sunday night at 10:30 pm, order Ventura Police Command Center received a 9-1-1 call regarding a burglary in progress to a commercial building Vince St and Ventura Ave.. The reporting party told dispatchers the suspects were removing property from the business on a handcart.
Officers responded to the area within minutes locating the suspects attempting to leave the vicinity. The reporting party identified both suspects as committing the crime and the property was recognized then released to the manager of the business after being identified as stolen.
Matthew Crawford, 33 years old and Monica Estrada, 29 years old, both identified as vagrants, were booked into Ventura County Jail for Burglary and Conspiracy. Estrada was booked in on a supplemental charge of possession of narcotics. No one was injured as a result of this incident.
