Oscar Valles (DOB 05/19/70), of Oxnard, was sentenced to 16 years to life in prison by Superior Court Judge Jeffrey Bennett, for the murder of 24-year-old Olegario Valladolid. Valles stabbed Mr. Valladolid to death in the early morning hours of December 28, 2013, at a bar and grill restaurant in the city of Oxnard. Valles killed the victim after he confronted the victim for talking to another patron at the restaurant.

A jury convicted Valles of second-degree murder on June 13, 2017. Oxnard Police Department officers conducted a thorough investigation of the murder of Mr. Valladolid, leading directly to the successful prosecution and conviction of Valles.
