Ventura City Fire Dept. fight Motorhome Blaze at Marina Park

On October 11, 2017 Ventura City Fire Department responded to a report of a motorhome burning in the parking lot at Marina Park.  Upon arrival firefighters encountered a fully involved 26 foot motorhome.  Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire 8 minutes after arriving on scene. 

The single occupant of the motorhome escaped unharmed.  Several bystanders attempted to extinguish the fire with dry chemical extinguishers prior to firefighter’s arrival but where unsuccessful due to the large volume of heat, smoke and flame.

The cause of the fire remains undetermined.  No firefighters or bystanders were injured as a result of this incident.
