WE will teach you about the western snowy plover and California least tern in Ventura County:
- Where & when these birds nest on Ventura County beaches
- Federal and State Endangered Species Act Status and what that means
- Life history: migration, mating, feeding, nesting, chick rearing
- How to conduct public outreach and help protect these birds
YOU come to the beach and teach others
We request trained docents commit to regular weekly 2-hour beach visits during nesting season Your choice of Ormond of Hollywood Beach where these birds nest
