Ventura City Fire put out blaze at East Ventura Apartment Complex

The Ventura City Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at a multiple unit apartment complex in east Ventura in the 1200 block S. Petit Ave. Upon arrival, an active fire was discovered in an office building. Firefighters rapidly extinguished the fire before it could extend to an attached laundry room.

Early detection along with rapid emergency response and extinguishment are credited with quickly containing this fire in the room of origin.
