Ventura County Certified Farmers’ Market Association Announces Holiday Hours

The Thousand Oaks Market held on Thursday afternoons will close for the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, November 26 and re-open after the holidays on Thursday, January 7, 2016. The Market is held each Thursday at the Oaks Shopping Center at the east end parking lot, Wilbur Road and Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

The Downtown Ventura Farmers’ Market held on Saturday mornings on the corners of East Santa Clara and Palm Streets, will close December 26, 2015 and reopen on Saturday, January 2, 2016. The Wednesday Market held at the Pacific View Mall will remain open during the holiday season.

The Wednesday morning Market held at the Pacific View Mall will remain open throughout November and December.

The weekly markets offers shoppers delicious fresh fruit and vegetables, meat products, herbs, honey, eggs, nuts, olive oil, jams & jellies, fresh cut flowers, potted plants and much more. Patrons will also find tasty hot food prepared onsite and visiting food trucks.

The Ventura County Certified Farmers’ Market Association serves the community of Ventura with two Markets — Wednesdays at the Pacific View Mall, front west parking lot on Main Street from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and on Saturdays in Downtown Ventura on the corners of East Santa Clara and Palm Streets from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon. The Thousand Oaks Farmers’ Market is held Thursdays at The Oaks Shopping Center at the east end parking lot, Wilbur Road and Thousand Oaks Boulevard from 1:30 to 6:00 p.m. Santa Clarita Farmers’ Market is held on Sundays at the College of the Canyons, parking lot 5 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon.
