Ventura County Fair Board to Consider the Future of Gun Shows at the County Fairgrounds

The Ventura County Fair Board will be meeting on Tuesday September 25 and the topic of gun shows is on the agenda. As seen up and down the state, anti-gun activists have been making a push to ban gun shows at publicly owned venues, and Ventura is no different. At a Ventura Fair Board meeting earlier this year there were calls to end future gun shows and this Tuesday will likely be more of the same. It’s important that gun owners show up to express support for the continued operation of gun shows at the Ventura County Fairgrounds.

Tuesday, September 25

9:00 A.M.

Derby Club/Director’s Room

Ventura County Fairgrounds

10 Harbor Blvd. Ventura, CA 93001

The Fairgrounds serves the needs of all of the residents of Ventura County and all of Southern California, not just the interests of a small group of anti-gun activists.

Your support is needed at this meeting to help let Board Members know that there is broad-based community and regional support for the gun shows, which draw over 25,000 law-abiding gun owners each year to the Fairgrounds.  The future of gun shows in all of California depends on the support of you and other law-abiding gun owners from throughout the state.
