The Road to Tyranny by Don Jans

Ventura County has caved and issued an order allowing gun stores to re-open.

Thanks to FPC legal action, Ventura County has caved and issued an order allowing gun stores to re-open.

This is the latest in a string of victories for the Second Amendment. And it’s all thanks to your support.

However, there are still many jurisdictions across the country that are using government force to deny people their fundamental rights during COVID-19.

And we need YOUR support in order to keep up the pace of our legal action.

I take serious issue with the word “caved”. That would imply they gave in to allow something they really should not have.

No, I disagree, these stores should never have been closed to begin with!

So essential that the founding fathers made it the second right of the free people of America to have access to and own firearms.

Sincerely hope the photo shown is not intended to be illustrative of the behavior of Gun Store owners and/or gun owners. Unless times have changed, dramatically, it used to be ‘up and down range and fingers off triggers’. Really bad picture… but supportive of story!

I am not sure this story is accurate. A friend who ought to know says he has no knowledge of any such settlement and the Board of Supervisors has not been approached to approve any such settlement.

Why should the Board of Stupidvisors have to approve our Constitutional rights? They should be in jail for depriving us of our First, Second and Fourth amendment rights.

    Good.
The fact that they were ever closed should worry everyone.

It’s called the 2nd Amendment to the United States Constitution, the Right to Keep and Bear Arms. It was listed right after the 1st Amendment, Freeom of Speech, Freedom to Assemble, Freedom of Religion because our forefathers in their wisdom knew the without a way to keep an oppressive government in check none of our other rights would continue to exist. Including your right to make your comment of disdain, no matter how ignorant it is !

You sound scared bro. Maybe try lifting weights and taking a self-defense class. You’ll be less terrified of everything.

Second Amendment says that right “shall not be infringed,” but I’m guessing your schooling downplayed that big time.

Guns are essential. An armed person is a citizen. An unarmed person is a subject.

Not to mention the whole issue of being able to defend oneself and one’s loved ones.

We also can’t forget to thank California 26th Congressional candidate Ronda Kennedy! She was one of the lawyers in the case and is running against gun grabber Julia Brownley in November!
