The County of Ventura has started to return to normal after Governor Newsom ended most of COVID-19 restrictions. Effective Saturday June 26, 2021, the Ventura County Jail shall return to the pre-Covid visiting schedule.Â
Visitors who are fully vaccinated will not be required to wear a mask or socially distance. Visitors will NOT be asked to show proof of vaccination. Visitors are asked to respect the social distance of other visitors who may be at higher risk from COVID exposure.
Additional information, including the updated visiting schedule and hours, can be found on the Sheriff’s Office website, venturasheriff.org. Video visitation continues to operate normally and should be considered an option for those who are unable to wait or who may be at higher risk from COVID exposure.
