Opening Reception July 10 @ 1-3PM
at the Agriculture Museum in Santa Paula
Join us at the Agriculture Museum in Santa Paula on Saturday, July 10 @ 1—3pm for the opening reception of Tomols to Trains: County Transportation through the 1900s and a live musical performance by Kelly’s Lot. There will be light refreshments and a no-host bar.

Crossing Borders features select works in the museum collection along with works by artists in the community who have immigrated to the US, sometimes as refugees in search of a safe haven, bringing their talent and creative ideas

The Weed Project: Outlaws of the Super Bloom & Crimes We Commit in the Garden

In the macro-style paintings of The Weed Project, Charlene Spiller draws a plumb line between art and science. She creates a new category of “bloom”, challenging
the viewer’s expectation of what constitutes beauty.

Huelga! is a photography exhibit that focuses on the 1970’s labor strikes and is featured alongside memorabilia from the collection of longtime local activist and civic leader, Jorge Corralejo.

Taken from the childhood game of the same name, this exhibition features works from the Museum’s collection that utilize these materials: rock, paper and scissors.
