Ventura | Crew Puts Out Fire at Target in Pacific View Mall

Fire crews responded to a reported structure fire at the Target store in the Pacific View Mall. Upon arrival, firefighters found the store evacuated and proceeded to a second story storeroom where employees had used extinguishers and the automatic sprinkler system had kept the fire in check. Firefighters confirmed the blaze was extinguished and shut down the sprinkler system. Firefighters worked with Target management to salvage merchandise and remove water from the store.

There were no injuries reported on this incident.
