Ventura Fire Dept. rescue man trapped inside crashed pickup

Fire personnel responded to a report of a traffic collision at Foothill and Petit Ave in Ventura.    First arriving units found a full size pickup truck overturned in an orchard. There was one victim, a 40 year old man, trapped inside with moderate injuries. Hydraulic rescue tools were utilized to cut the vehicle body away from the victim and successfully extricate him. The crash victim was transported to a local area hospital. No other injuries related to the incident were reported at this time.
