Ventura Firefighters rescue victims after car crashes into electrical pole

buy cialis times; font-size: 16px;”>At 5:30pm Saturday afternoon two victims were trapped in their vehicle early this morning after colliding with a cement street light pole at Main and MacMillan Ave. The pole, abortion which was energized by power lines and was lying on top of the vehicle trapping the injured victims inside.  Firefighters from the City of Ventura worked with Southern California Edison to remove the power line hazard.  With the power lines removed, order firefighters were able to assess and remove the victims from the vehicle.  One male and one female victim estimated to be in their early twenties were transported to a local area trauma center for further treatment of their injuries. 

The cause of the accident remains under investigation by the Ventura Police Department.  No emergency workers were injured as a result of this incident.
