Ventura Police Department – Incident Press Release
On 07/12/2019 at approximately 1:00 AM, Ventura Police Patrol officers contacted a 13-year-old female juvenile who alleged Wade Austen Allen, (DOB 6/19/1993), Ventura Resident, sexually assaulted her inside a camping trailer in the City of Ventura. Ventura Police Detectives took over the investigation which resulted in the corroboration of the child’s disclosure of the sexual assault. On 07/18/19, VPD Detectives located Allen in the 2900 block of Johnson Drive, and he was taken into custody. Upon contacting Allen, Detectives found usable quantities of cocaine and ecstasy in his possession. Allen was arrested for lewd acts with a child, an outstanding DUI warrant, and various narcotics charges.
