Anthony Wearing (DOB 9/19/89), of Oxnard, was charged with felony forcible digital penetration and sexual battery by restraint. Wearing was employed as a massage therapist for Massage Envy in Ventura. It is alleged that Wearing committed these crimes on June 8, 2019, while giving a female victim a massage. At the time of the incident, Wearing had been employed at Massage Envy in Ventura for approximately one week. Prior to coming to Ventura, Wearing worked as a massage therapist in the Sacramento area and, more recently, at another Massage Envy in Hermosa Beach.
The charges arose from investigation conducted by the Ventura Police Department. Wearing was arraigned on the charges on June 13, 2019. The case is set for early disposition conference on June 24, 2019, at 1:30 p.m., in courtroom 12 of the Ventura County Superior Court. He is being held on $100,000 bail.
