Ventura Police Department – Incident Press Release
On May 1st at 11:53 PM, the Ventura Police Department Command Center received a call of subjects smoking marijuana inside a vehicle parked near a playground at Camino Real Park. Ventura Police patrol officers responded and contacted the occupants.
During the investigation, a loaded firearm was located inside a pocket of Magana’s pants. An unloaded firearm was found inside the vehicle, and officers determined that it had been in Vallejo’s possession.
Magana was arrested for possession of a concealed firearm on his person and possession of an unregistered firearm. Vallejo was arrested for possession of a concealed firearm in a vehicle, possession of an unregistered firearm, and felon in possession of a firearm.
