    Ventura Police Department – Incident Press Release

    On April 18th at 2:46 PM, Ventura Police Patrol Officers responded to Community Memorial Hospital to contact a shooting victim. Investigating officers learned that the victim and friends were in a car in the parking lot of the Montalvo Square shopping center when the four suspects approached them. An altercation occurred, and the victim was shot in the leg. The victim’s injury is not life-threatening.

    The suspects, 4 Hispanic males, were wearing blue bandanas, and two were armed with handguns. The suspects were last seen leaving the area in a white sedan.
