Ventura PD release photos: Search for suspect in AT&T store robbery

On February 19th, purchase at approximately 8pm the suspect entered the AT&T Store at 2850 Johnson Dr. The suspect was wearing a blue bandana covering his face and holding a pair of scissors in his hand. He threatened to hurt the employees if they moved towards him. The suspect used the scissors to cut security cables from several cell phones that were on display then exited the store with the phones. One of the employees then activated the stores panic alarm, which notified the Ventura Police Command Center. The suspect was last seen running northbound through the parking lot.

Officers responded to the panic alarm and determined that a robbery had just occurred. Several officers searched for the suspect but he was not found. No one was hurt during this incident. The investigation into this crime is ongoing. Anyone with information related to this incident is urged to call the Ventura Police Department at (805) 339-4309.
