Ventura PD release video on nighttime vandalism between Main and Palm Streets

sildenafil arial, viagra 100mg sans-serif;”>On September 22, thumb 2015, the Ventura Police Department received several reports of vehicles having been vandalized during the nighttime hours in the neighborhood above Main St., between Palm St. and Lincoln Dr. This morning a total of 15 vehicles were vandalized by having tires slashed. These crimes appear to have been random in nature and were not targeting a specific victim. This is the second time in the last month of similar incidents in this area, but at this time it is unknown if they are related.

The Ventura Police Department would like to remind citizens that nobody is immune to crime, but there are steps you can take to help make a difference:

• First and foremost, we urge everyone to be vigilant and responsible neighbors and community members. Please immediately report any and all suspicious activity to us at 805-650-8010 (24 hr. non-emergency number) or 911 in the event of an emergency.

• Pay attention and be aware of your surroundings.

• Set your alarm if you have one.

• Lighting can be a deterrent – park in a well-lit area whenever possible.

• Talk to your family, friends, and neighbors and share this type of information.

The investigation into these incidents is ongoing. Please refer to the attached photos and video of the suspect observed during this crime. Anyone with information related to these crimes or may possibly have addition video surveillance of the suspect is urged to call the Ventura Police Department at 339-4325. If you have any information about this crime, you can make an anonymous call to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
