Ventura: Possible electrical malfunction starts car fire

cialis times; font-size: 12pt;”>Saturday evening September 20, buy 2014, medications just before 9pm, Ventura City Firefighters responded to reports of smoke coming from the rear of a multi-residential complex in the 6000 block of Woodland St. near Buena High School. First arriving crews found a detached garage that had smoke pumping from the eaves and door. Firefighters forced entry into the building and found two vehicles, with one on fire.

They began a quick attack of the blaze and stopped the spread of flames to the structure, while protecting the uninvolved vehicle. The fire was successfully knocked down in 13 minutes.

The cause of the fire is suspected to be an electrical malfunction of the vehicle. The owner of the car (and resident) stated her sedan experienced a strange surging of the interior lights and dash earlier in the evening that lasted only a moment, but the vehicle appeared to work normally after that. After being parked in the garage for over an hour, the fire started.

Ventura Police assisted in traffic control. Initial estimates of damage to contents and structure were valued at $10,000. The uninvolved vehicle was removed from the garage and burned contents were overhauled.
