Ventura Recycling Center Robbed — Armed Suspects Escape

On January 28th at 12:58PM, the Ventura Police Department Command Center received a call from an employee of a recycling center at 985 N. Olive St., reporting an armed robbery that had just occurred.  It was reported the two suspects, armed with handguns, fled the business on foot. 

During the investigation, officers learned the suspects entered the business and approached the cashier.  Both suspects were armed with handguns and demanded money.  The suspects took the cash box containing an undisclosed amount of money and were last seen running southbound on Olive St. 

Officers checked the area, but were unable to locate the suspects.  

The cashier was not injured as a result of this crime.
