    Ventura Resident Robbed at Gunpoint – Police Hunt for Suspect

    On June 18 at 12:45 PM an officer was patrolling the area Sunridge Dr. and Bristol Rd., and was hailed by the victim reporting that he had been robbed. The victim said he was a passenger in a vehicle that was parked in an alley near the intersection, when the suspect approached his side of the vehicle. He said the suspect displayed he was armed with a handgun in his waistband and demanded the victim give him his property. The victim gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money and he fled the area in a vehicle, possibly a beige or white sedan.

    Officers checked the area, but were unable to locate the suspect or the suspect vehicle. The victim was not injured. There were also two other occupants in the vehicle with the victim at the time of the robbery, who were also uninjured.

    Suspect(s): Black Male, 6-03, Unshaven, wearing a white shirt, blue jeans
