Ventura | Robberies at 2 Circle K’s

Ventura Police Department – Incident Press Release

On 07/26/19 at about 3:41 AM, the suspect entered the Circle K Store at 1007 E. Main Street in Ventura. He pointed a handgun at the clerk and demanded money. The clerk gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect fled the store. The suspect was seen fleeing in a silver colored vehicle, possibly a Toyota Prius.

On the same date, at approximately 4:42 AM, a suspect matching the same description entered the Circle K Store at 1001 S. Petit Avenue in Ventura and committed the same crime. The circumstances were very similar in the second robbery. The suspect was again seen leaving in a silver colored sedan, possibly a Prius. Patrol officers and the Ventura Police Department Crime Scene Investigations Unit responded to both locations.

Suspect(s): Male subject wearing dark hooded sweatshirt and mask

There is no further suspect information at this time. It is unknown at this time if this robbery is related to other robberies committed in Ventura earlier this week. Any person with information regarding these crimes is encouraged to call the Ventura Police Watch Commander Line at 805 339-4416.
