Ventura Police Department – Incident Press Release
On 07/26/19 at about 3:41 AM, the suspect entered the Circle K Store at 1007 E. Main Street in Ventura. He pointed a handgun at the clerk and demanded money. The clerk gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect fled the store. The suspect was seen fleeing in a silver colored vehicle, possibly a Toyota Prius.
On the same date, at approximately 4:42 AM, a suspect matching the same description entered the Circle K Store at 1001 S. Petit Avenue in Ventura and committed the same crime. The circumstances were very similar in the second robbery. The suspect was again seen leaving in a silver colored sedan, possibly a Prius. Patrol officers and the Ventura Police Department Crime Scene Investigations Unit responded to both locations.
Suspect(s): Male subject wearing dark hooded sweatshirt and mask
