Ventura Unified School District Superintendent Michael Babb Fired

We were informed by a member of the Ventura County School Board that Ventura School Supt. Michael Babb has been fired without cause. We were told that the board wasn’t satisfied and voted 4-1 to oust him.

Paul White, co-Founder of Quality Of Life -Ventura- www.QOL-Ventura.org commented: “The Ventura Unified School Board’s timing and manner in which they executed Babb’s termination was definitely not typical. However, the Board now has a great opportunity: to develop an entirely new 21st century school model – to lead the way in restructuring a public education system that ranks 34th in the world, and is widely acknowledged to be totally inadequate.”
