Ventura: Suspect gains access through unlock slider in early morning break-in

pills arial, erectile sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;”>On April 21st, Thursday, 5:12 AM the Ventura Police Department Command Center received a 911 call from the victim stating the above described suspect was inside her residence in the 6600 Block of Webster Ave. and had just fled out through her patio slider. Officers arrived on-scene quickly but were unable to locate the suspect.    

During the investigation, officers learned the suspect, described as a man between 25-30yrs, 5’8-5’10, wearing a black mask and black clothing, entered the residence 23 year old woman through an unlocked slider.  The victim was asleep in her bed and the suspect laid down next to her for a short period of time, and then he began to touch her inappropriately. In fear of the suspect, the victim yelled out for help. The suspect fled through the open slider. It is unknown at this time if any property was taken from inside the victim’s residence.

Ventura Police Departments Major Crimes Detectives are currently investigating this incident.
