Ventura Vagrant Arrested as Suspect for Sexual Battery

On March 24th at 2:55 PM, the female victim was walking in the area of the 3500 block of East Main Street.

The suspect, Dylan McTaggart, 23 year old vagrant from Ventura, approached her, yelled lewd comments and sexually battered her. The suspect fled prior to officers arriving; however he was located by officers. The investigation revealed he committed the sexual battery and that he is a registered sex offender.

He was booked into Ventura County Jail for misdemeanor sexual battery.
