    Ventura | Woman battered and robbed at ATM

    Ventura Police Department – Incident Press Release

    On may 30th at 9:53 PM the Ventura Police Department Command Center received a 911 call of an injured female near the Bank of America in the 2600 block of E. Main St. Officers, along with fire personnel responded and upon arrival contacted a 45-year-old female with non-life-threatening injuries. She was treated at the scene and later transported to a local hospital.

    During the investigation officers learned the victim had just withdrawn money from the bank’s ATM, and as she was walking through the parking lot was confronted by the suspect. The suspect battered the victim and took her purse, which contained an undetermined amount of cash. He then fled on foot westbound through the parking lot.

    Officers checked the area, but were unable to locate the suspect. described as : Unknown Race Male, 5-05, 250 lbs, wearing a white shirt, dark pants.
