Victim shot at in Ventura

Ventura Police Department – Incident Press Release

On October 7th at 12:10 AM, the Ventura Police Department Command Center received several 911 calls of gunshots heard in the area of Vince and Olive Street.  Officers responded to the area and were initially unable to locate a victim.  

Approximately one hour later, officers responded back to the area as more reports of gunshots were made.   After an extensive search, officers located a male victim who indicated he had been shot at while walking on Olive Street.  The victim informed officers a light colored sedan had drove up alongside him and one of the passenger in the vehicle fired several shots at him without provocation. The victim was able to safely flee into a nearby residence where he remained until contacted by officers. 

There is currently no further suspect information available. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact the Ventura Police Department at 339-4488.

This is just ridiculous. Those punks have nothing better to do but be cowards and shoot from a car at a person walking wow damn cowards throw the key away when u find them
