recipe times; font-size: 16px;”>A fire erupted in the early morning of May 2, 2014 in an orchard close to the Santa Clara river bottom east of Montalvo, in Ventura, California. It began some time after 4:00 a.m. and grew to several acres.  It was contained by 9:00 p.m. by the City of Ventura and Ventura County Fire Department crews and helicopters that made water drops on the blaze. The cause of the fire was under investigation
