Viewpoint:  “America Needs Donald Trump”

“America needs Donald Trump.”

Donald Trump is more than political figure—in fact, he is not a politician, but rather a “master builder” that this nation needs more than ever.  This is why he will win the White House.

Donald Trump is the figurehead for a new movement in America.  He is a “voice” for the “voiceless”—the millions of American citizens who have felt unheard and have felt like “nobodies”—the unimportant.

His acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention is not just “receiving buzz” from Trump supporters but gaining traction from “the other side.”   MSNBC morning host Joe Scarborough reacted Friday by saying “it may have been exactly what millions of middle Americans had been waiting to hear.”

How could a non-politician perceived by many as a “bully” win a nomination over 16 other talented and gifted leaders in the Republican primary?

I speak for millions when I say it is because countless Americans have gotten “tired” of “political correctness” and events overseas and at home that makes us feel “unsafe.”   We forgive his character flaws because we recognize his heart and we treasure the words that he speaks that we wanted someone to express on our behalf.

Americans do not want a rule of law for us and a different rule of law for our leaders. Americans are concerned   that  our children  face a bleaker future  than we ever did.

Americans  are proud  of their country and their heritage and their roots as a nation.

We are not interested in politicians positioning themselves for future political races.

We  are not  interested  in elites,  the media,  big business   in telling us  how to think.

We are not interested in globalism—a confederacy of nations—dictating how to live.

The citizens of this nation are making a choice for an American “divine order” that starts with the individual first, then the family, community, state and nation—not the other way around.

The citizens of this nation believe “that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness…That Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.”  This is our Declaration of Independence.

The citizens of this nation as “We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”   Yes, we do have a Constitution that we as Americans treasure.

Americans want to see the checks and balances that come from a proper functioning Executive Branch, Legislative Branch and Judicial Branch.  We do not want the President enacting Executive Orders or the Supreme Court Justices changing laws and putting forward their own social agendas for change.

The Republican National Convention introduced us to the Trump family—a family who touched us and a man who spoke for us.

Yes, Americans want a voice—a champion—to fight for them.  Americans want to “Make America Great Again. “
