Visit Ventura Wins Best Place to Work in Central Coast Award 

Ventura, Calif. – Visit Ventura is honored to be recognized as one of the best places to work in California’s Central Coast by the Pacific Coast Business Times. 

For their Best Place to Work awards, the Pacific Coast Business Times sent a survey to over 15,000 people asking them to rate their workplaces. They received over 1,000 completed surveys from more than 100 organizations in the Tri-Counties. They tallied all of the scores and ranked the top 35 companies; 25 large (26 employees or more) and 10 small (25 employees or less). Visit Ventura ranked in the top 10 small companies in the Central Coast. 

“From ice cream socials to innovation awards and celebrity dog press trips, our team has mastered the art of making hard work fun through creativity and a commitment to collaboration,” shared Marlyss Auster, Visit Ventura president and CEO. “I’m proud of each member of our small but mighty team and appreciative of each day we get to work together.”

The Best Place to Work awards began in 2016. They represent feedback across an organizational structure and were quickly embraced by the community thus increasing their prestige. Workplace factors such as compensation, paid time off, community involvement, and overall corporate culture is considered. Other winners in Ventura include the Trade Desk and Tolman and Wiker.
