The United States of America is not the country it was intended to be. Yes, we have the biggest economy and best military in the world. Yes, people throughout the world still want to come to the United States because of opportunity. Yes, it is always great to come through customs when returning home from traveling abroad. And yet, the fundamental principles that made the United States are despised by so many who are citizens of this country. Those who despise are telling us that the very things that have made us what we are must be transformed.
This transformation movement has been present for over a century. It did not happen by accident but has been a concerted and definite movement. Anybody who paid any attention, was well aware of the movement. Yes, that means that Freedom Loving Americans were aware of the effort to take away their beloved freedoms and liberties, but did not directly acknowledge or confront it. There are lots of reasons, but all of the reasons are nothing but excuses.
All of this has brought us to the year 2020, about 230 years from the ratifying of our Constitution that was written and ratified to protect the people from the tyranny of government, the exact happening that is very close to eliminating all that we Freedom Loving Americans hold dear. This has occurred mostly, because we Freedom Loving Americans were to busy enjoying the freedom and liberty we were given to take the time, make the effort, or to sacrifice what we must in order to keep and enhance freedom and liberty. All to often we went along to get along and nominated as our candidate people like McCain and Romney who are and were Globalists and supported the very policies we knew would continue to erode freedom and liberty.
We have arrived at the point we are today were a non-politician has exposed the evil that we have tried to ignore as it grew just like any cancer grows unless it is eradicated. When evil is exposed, when all that is dark is exposed to light, it reacts violently and irrationally. This is what we are witnessing, but the reality of the evil is so evident that it cannot be rationalized and must be addressed.
We have witnessed the violence that accompanies all transfers from freedom to enslavement. We have witnessed the lies and irrational attacks that accompanies all transfers from freedom to enslavement. We have and are about to witness the immorality and criminality that accompanies all transfers from freedom to enslavement.
We are facing three possible scenarios; one that is hopeful, and two that make our plight even more desperate. The two bad outcomes would be that the evil movement that is today encased in the Democrat party and what we call the left, would be where the evil that is the left takes control of the White House and both houses of Congress or where the evil that is the left takes control of two of the three. Under either of these scenarios the move to communism or tyranny and surrendering our sovereignty to a world power would be greatly enhanced if not totally accomplished. The result of this would be a total elimination of our Natural Rights and Liberties with a government dictating our lives and our thoughts for what they would call the greater good as has always been done when freedom is transformed to tyranny.
The other scenario that gives all Freedom Loving Americans hope would be that President Trump would win the election, the house would be taken, and the senate would emerge with a majority of Freedom Loving Americans. This would only win a battle and would not win the war. This happening would enable those who cherish freedom and liberty to continue to drain the evil that has become the swamp, it would enable those who cherish freedom and liberty to eliminate Teachers Unions that are now controlled by communists whose goal is to indoctrinate, it would enable our economy to flourish and help even more people escape poverty and the enslavement of government, and it would enable those of us who cherish freedom and liberty to become dedicated to “Setting Brushfires of Freedom.”
We who cherish freedom and liberty, must always remember that there will always be a faction that aspires to control the lives and thoughts of others. When we realize and understand this truth, we will know that the war is never really won but we can greatly enhance the belief in true American principles, those principles upon which our nation was founded; our right and liberties come from God and not government, and we are a Republic and not a democracy.
Samuel Adams stated, “All might be free if they valued freedom and valued it as they should.” This is what “Setting Brushfires of Freedom” is all about, helping people value freedom and value it as they should.
