Wells Fargo donates $10,000 to local Ventura County organizations
With local elected officials, business leaders, nonprofit organizations and bank executives on-hand, Wells Fargo “cut the ribbon” and officially opened the new Westlake Plaza branch to the Westlake Village community and Ventura County residents, today at Westlake Plaza, 970 S. Westlake Boulevard, Westlake Village CA 91361.
The new banking location features next generation banking technology which includes Assisted Service ATMs – housed in a vestibule, assessable by ATM card – that perform multiple transactions and disburse bills of all denominations. Also the branch has iPads for use that connect directly to the ATMs
“This new Westlake store will be joining a very strong and successful Conejo Valley group of stores and team members at Wells Fargo, and we couldn’t be happier for this addition,” said Ali Nawabi, Conejo Valley district manager. “With this new Westlake Plaza store, we’ll have nearly 180 retail banking professionals and more than $1.8 billion in deposits across 11 banking stores throughout this district including Calabasas, Agoura Hills, Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks and Westlake Village, and Ventura County is a great community and Wells Fargo is happy to continue our expansion by adding new stores.”
The new Westlake Plaza Wells Fargo branch will serve the diverse financial needs of local Westlake Village residents, and is managed by an experienced team of branch and service managers. The branch, in its uniqueness, has a full staff of special private and premier bankers designated to work with affluent customers on managing complex portfolios that include checking, savings, consumer credit, business credit, insurance, investment and retirement and estate planning accounts. In addition, the new branch has an in-store business specialist on-site, daily, who will work with business customers to help them grow their business through various lines of productions ranging from merchant payment services, payroll services, small business lines and loans, equipment financing, secured and unsecured commercial lending and Small Business Administration loans.
Wells Fargo’s new Westlake Plaza branch is also a great add for the Westlake Village and Ventura County environment, as it was built as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®)-certified building. This store was built using, among other things, sustainably grown, harvested and manufactured wood materials; low toxic paints; and a light harvesting system that cuts energy use by automatically adjusting indoor lighting for maximum use of available daylight.

Wells Fargo is proud to expand throughout the Westlake Village community and create partnership with local Ventura County residents and organizations As part of the ribbon-cutting event, Wells Fargo also made a total of $10,000 in donations to local organizations in the Westlake Village community, including Oak Christian School, Westlake High School and Casa Pacifica and Triunfo YMCA.
