The STEM Pavilion highlights what’s new in aviation and aerospace and other Science, Technology, Engineering and Math fields. It’s an exciting place where families and kids of all ages can play, have fun, and learn about STEM programs in Ventura County.

Located in a large hangar on the west end of the event, the STEM Pavilion will feature robotics demonstrations for all age groups, a large drone cage with experts to help guests learn to fly drones, opportunities to talk to pilots and fly simulators, plus building things, flying things, and learning things.

Alison Barker, STEM Pavilion organizer, stated, “STEM education is critical to our future. Employment in STEM fields is expected to increase 8.8% by 2028, compared to 3.7% for all other occupations, and we must prepare our youth for the new technologies that will lead us into the next century. The STEM Pavilion is a fun and exciting place to inspire the next generation. It is also a great place for parents and the community to learn about STEM opportunities and companies in Ventura County. Guests can get out of the sun and have fun visiting all the different exhibitors with hands on activities. Try your hand at flying a drone or a flight simulator, build and test fly a paper airplane with famous test pilots, build a Lego project, play in a wind tunnel, watch robots in action, and much more.”

The STEM Pavilion is made possible by generous support from The Gene Haas Foundation, Parker Aerospace Foundation, and the City of Camarillo, along with volunteers from the Gold Coast Robotics Alliance and Royal High School JROTC
