Two Visions of America by Don Jans

    Woe Is US

    By Sigrid Weidenweber

I have wanted to stop writing for some time now. The words do not flow as easily as in previous years, and I sometimes ask myself, why do it? What is now a chore, was once easy, for content seemed to be dictated to me. However, as I see my country taken over by people with the same mindset the Communists had in the country I fled, I must speak. I abjured the country I came from and swore allegiance to the United States of America. I became American, with heart and soul, as they say. But I was not only citizen in spirit, I worked hard. I learned different subjects at every waking moment to make this a more prosperous place for my family and everyone I associated with.

I lectured, I wrote to impart knowledge, hard learned. I helped community and associations in every way I could with funds, knowledge, time and my person. However, it seems that all came to naught—for deceit, lies and cheating won out in the end. Sometimes I wonder if the old Biblical curse is repeating itself and America deserves the pain and horror that will surely befall if we stay on this path. Ancient historical records foretold what is in store for nations abdicating their obligations and instead fall into moral and mental decay. Countries where the laws are not upheld and enforced, and the moral and ethical tenets of their societies are perverted, falsified, and paraded, flaunted for their insider-sport, allow the worst of society to rise and grab the government. Ours is not the only time in history at a juncture with a totally divided population, holding totally different perceptions of truth, honor and justice.

It happens when a great society produces an elite that is rich, surfeited and super-filled with riches, to the extent that nothing means anything to them anymore, that in order to achieve a level of personal fulfillment—they, like Caesars, believe they are god-like. With their wealth and power, they begin to change the lives of populations, more spiritual, but less wealthy than they are. Soon, they envision only one ambition worthwhile of their attention and ceaseless energy—world-dominion.

So, here we are. Super companies and wealthy individuals are every day and evermore remaking our lives and limiting our freedom of expression. They tell us what we are allowed to say, allowed to think and what to to do. How did we arrive at this point of totalitarianism without violent opposition to this state of affairs? I cannot more eloquently state our slide into perdition than a prayer I received from a friend who found it on line. I am pleased to pass it on for it is filled with profound truths.

This prayer was given in Kansas, USA, at the opening session of their Senate.

Minister Joe Wright opened the sessions as followed:

“Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask your forgiveness and seek your direction and guidance. We know Your Word says: “Woe to those who call evil good,” but that is exactly what we have done.

We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values.

We have ridiculed the absolute truth of Your Word and called it Pluralism.

We have worshipped other gods and called it multiculturalism.

We have endorsed perversion and called it alternative lifestyle.

We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery.

We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare.

We have killed our unborn and called it choice.

We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable.

We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self-esteem.

We have abused power and called it politics.

We have embezzled public funds and called it essential expenses.

We have institutionalized bribery and called it sweets of office.

We have coveted our neighbor’s possessions and called it ambition.

We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of expression.

We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers and called it enlightenment.

Search us, Oh God, and know our hearts today, cleanse us from every sin and and set us free. Amen.”

Erika emoted, “Most Americans voted Trump out. Most Americans want the rule of law. Most Americans recognize that the 2021 election was free and fair. Most Americans are sick and tired of lies to the contrary.”

And now we enter the world of George Orwell here.

If what Erika says is ‘true’, the word American has no meaning anymore.

“I have wanted to stop writing for some time now.” — sounds like a good idea Sigrid.

If y’all need any proof Jesse and his (her?) immoral ilk are anti-refugee/anti-immigrant, the answer is YES; the above comment proves it.

It is well understood that mixing religion and politics is extremely dangerous. This rhetoric should be recognized for the nonsense it is.

Someone with direct experience with similar occurrences that didn’t end well in her home country is warning us about it.

On the contrary she has no experience of a liberal free market economy in her own country. Her assertions are ridiculous. And so are yours.

Maybe because her home country didn’t even have a real free market economy when she left. You do know what East Berlin was, right? She has experience in her adopted country’s economy, so please stop spouting off with your uninformed opinions

We would be much more likely to experience tyranny akin to nazi and soviet regimes under Trump than any other candidate. He pandered to the oligarchy and the religious zealots. He did everything he could to become a dictator like his hero Putin. Ultimately he failed because the nation rejected his tyranny and the constitution was sufficiently strong to uphold the nations voice despite menacing thugs doing the tyrants dirty work.

Says the fairy tale writer who likely voted for the guy who broke all records writing executive orders in his first two weeks, many of which are unconstitutional. He also preached about “unity” then did the opposite while the seats were still warm from the inauguration.

Right now, the Democrat Party has the slimmest legislative majority since the end of World War Two.

Do you know how to count, Erika? Most Americans do not want socialism or communism. On this, there is no debate.

Pardon the interruption… You were saying something about national rejection and the nation’s voice?

There are cycles in the affairs of mankind. This time and for decades before is a darkening one for the USA. Every person has an innate goodness, but it must be expressed and our vices lessened. Each individual must turn toward or return to God or Buddha or Krishna or HaShem or Allah. Otherwise this dark cycle will deepen and last longer.

Woe there. Things are looking a lot better than they were a couple of months ago. There are reasons for optimism at last.

It’s just the opposite of that. Warnock, Fausti, etc. Blatant demon-work. Obvious, overt, in our faces. Subtle, they ain’t.
