    Incident: Shooting Investigation
    Location: 3000 Block of Johnson Dr.
    Date/Time Occurred: 7/7/2021 @ 0300
    Officer(s) Involved: Patrol, CSI
    Suspect(s): Unknown

    On July 7, 2021, at approximately 0300 hours, Ventura Police Department patrol officers responded to a report
    of a shooting victim in the 3000 block of Johnson Dr. Officers located a male suffering from multiple gunshot
    The investigation revealed the shooting took place on Johnson Dr near the onramp to the northbound Hwy 101.
    At least one suspect fired multiple rounds at the victim and then fled the scene in a vehicle.
    The victim was transported to the Ventura County Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. There were
    no other victims of the shooting.
    The Ventura Police Crime Scene Unit responded to collect evidence and document the scene.
