San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Ventura, Calif. – September 30, 2021 – 3C-REN (The Tri-County Regional Energy Network), a partnership between the Counties of San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Ventura that delivers energy-saving programs and industry trainings, is launching the Multifamily Home Energy Savings program, which works with property owners and managers to identify and provide rebates for optimum energy improvements for tri-county multifamily properties.
“We are all feeling the effects of climate change with summers getting hotter,” said Marisa Hanson-Lopez, 3C-REN Multifamily Program Manager. “This new program provides significant incentives to lower the costs of property upgrades, like updating HVAC systems and replacing water heaters, that create more comfortable and affordable homes.”
On Tuesday, October 12 from 9am-10am, 3C-REN is hosting a webinar to review the program benefits, discuss property and project eligibility, and how to receive incentives. Join 3C-REN, industry-leading experts, and community members to learn more about how this new program is working to bring energy savings to tri-county property owners and residents.
The Multifamily Home Energy Savings program enables multifamily property owners and operators to make energy-efficient upgrades on properties with five or more units. The program provides property owners and property managers with rebates that help offset costs for building improvement projects that increase energy efficiency, lower energy bills, and maximize energy savings.
