On April 2, 2019, the Simi Valley Police Departments Property Crimes Detective Unit concluded a lengthy investigation into a commercial shoplifting ring. In January of 2019, the Simi Valley Macys store was victimized by an organized shoplifting crew. During this single incident, over $1000 dollars in clothing was stolen.

Through a detailed investigation, two suspects were identified. The first suspect identified was Danielle Graham (23 yrs) of Los Angeles. Graham was arrested on February 28th and charged with 487(a) PC-Grand Theft, 182(a)(1) PC- Conspiracy, and 490.4(a) PC- Organized Retail Theft.

This investigation continued during which Kelsee Kailee Williams (20 yrs) of Los Angeles was identified as the second suspect. It was also discovered that Graham and Williams were taking “orders” from family, friends, and acquaintances for specific sizes and items. Graham and Williams would then go out and steal the requested items and sell them for a significantly reduced rate. The suspects in this case appeared to favor stores such as Old Navy and Macy’s targeting such stores throughout the Ventura and Los Angeles County areas.

On April 2, 2019, Kelsee Williams was located at a hotel in the city of Bellflower and subsequently arrested for 487(a) PC- Grand Theft, 182(a)(1) PC- Conspiracy, and 490.4(a) PC- Organized Retail Theft. During her arrest, Williams was found in possession of over $500 dollars worth of stolen baby clothes from an Old Navy Store in Cerritos.

Suspect Williams was booked at the Ventura County Main jail for the above listed charges and was held on a $20,000 dollar bail.
