Stunning video has come out of Compton, California, where a crowd of looters estimated at more than 100 smashed a car into a bakery, then cleaned out the shelves.

ABC reported the fracas apparently started out with a street takeover.

It progressed to being a large mob of looters who pushed in the front of the store, using a car, then ransacked the place.

The report explained the attack was about 3:30 a.m. Tuesday at Ruben’s Bakery & Mexican Food in Compton.

Police there described a “street takeover in the area with about 100 people,” including those who burned debris and trash in the streets.

Then, the video shows, what looks like a group of young men and women raiding the store. They jumped on counters, stole food and even cash registers.

“Investigators said the group used a white Kia Soul to crash into the building. Footage shows the driver backing up and ramming into the store multiple times as people made their way in<” ABC reported.

One worker at a nearby school said, “It’s terrifying to know that we have a pre-school right across the street and there’s people doing things like this. I was hoping to run into the owner just to ask to see if they need anything from us or any kind of support. We’re here for them.”

Gunshots also were reported in the area at the time, the report said.

No arrests were made right away, the report said.
