Santa Police Police Department – Incident Press Release
On Saturday, June 29th 2019 at approximately 10:49 PM, Santa Paula Police officers responded to the area of 12th Street and Main Street regarding a report of a vehicle versus pedestrian traffic collision.
It was determined that the incident occurred in the parking lot of 4 Guys Liquor located at 1203 East Main Street. One adult victim was located at the scene unresponsive. The suspect vehicle fled prior to arrival. The victim was transported to Ventura County Medical Center and is in critical condition. Through the course of the investigation, it was learned that the victim had possibly been intentionally hit by the suspect vehicle after a verbal altercation.
The suspect and suspect vehicle have not been located. seems these stories always say “The investigation is currently ongoing”, but never hear the results. Any of these get solved?
They sometimes announce convictions on major cases, but never seem to announce acquittals. We sometimes get requests from report subjects telling us they were acquitted and begging us to take down the announcements, because it is causing them difficulty in getting employment, etc,
