Oxnard Police Department – Incident Press Release
On May 16, at about 11:15 p.m., Officers from the Oxnard Police Department responded to Palm and Magnolia Streets in Oxnard regarding a traffic collision. Officers learned that a vehicle driven by Espinoza had collided with four parked vehicles. Officers began to suspect that Espinoza had been driving his vehicle while under the influence of drugs. After an investigation, officers arrested Espinoza for driving while under the influence of drugs. During a search of Espinoza’s vehicle officers located a loaded firearm inside the vehicle.
Espinoza was arrested for multiple firearm charges and driving under the influence of drugs.

Right our police do the best they can, with what they have, and in the current situation we are all in right now people don’t go to jail for nonviolent crimes which is a great idea or our jails would be a breeding ground for the virus with people coming in and out. The no bail is for our protection, so I say thank you Governor Newsome even though I know that you have nothingto do with this law.
The problem being, of course, that the “no bail” system does NOT protect us. It allows the criminals a revolving door back out into public to continue to victimize normal people. There have been several people arrested and released numerous times under this program, allowing the to continue to prey on society. But you are correct that Comrade Newsom had nothing to do with the no bail program. That’s all on the state Judicial Council.
Our police have tough jobs yet do a great job. I hope this individual Espinosa is not going to be released on “no bail” and disappear, thanks to Governor “Losesome” Newsom.
