Adam Laxalt and Matt Schlapp Addressed Nevada Election Concerns at Asian & Latino Election Rally

Monday, November 9, 2020 – LAS VEGAS – Thank you, press, for joining us yesterday (Sunday, November 8) at a special election press conference for Asians and Latinos on the right regarding the 2020 presidential election, with about 350 in attendance. This impromptu event was held at 2 pm on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at the Clark County Election Department. In attendance were Fox 11 Los Angeles, Washington Examiner, Epoch Times, NTD, the Independent, 8 News Now, KTNV Channel 13 Action News, and many more outlets.

The conference featured Adam Laxalt, former Nevada Attorney General and Matt Schlapp, Trump’s Nevada Election chair made remarks and answered questions, after they shared breaking information on the status of voter irregularities including those who have moved away from the state and the sudden change in rules to allow mail in ballots just two months prior to Election Day.

A Washington Examiner reporter brought up the fact that the Secretary of State in Nevada is a Republican and the response to that was that sometimes those in government are more concerned about saving face than being a whistleblower. Integrity in the process has caused many to lose faith in the electoral process.

Various speakers spoke, including co-organizers Marc Ang and Jing Espiritu, who represented the Filipino American community in Nevada and Southern California, citing the mail in ballot process in Orange County and the weakness of that process, from signature verifications with loose standards to active bullying of conservative or Republican election counting watchers, stealing initial wins from Young Kim and Mimi Walters in 2018.  Marc also gave remarks on the state of CA and NV elections, such as big wins such as No on 16 (Asian Journal, Washington Post, KTLA) and many downballot races from House, State House/Senate to City Council, where Republicans have been dominant this cycle, injecting hope to the crowd.

Remarks were also made by other leaders of Asian and Latino groups, who then held an ensuing prayer vigil, reading a prayer published by former US presidential candidate Michelle Bachmann.

The following groups were in attendance:
    Asian Industry B2B
Raise the FilAm Voice, Nevada Chapter
Raise the FilAm Voice, Southern California Chapter
Chinese American Citizens Alliance, Orange County
Chinese American Citizens Alliance, Las Vegas
    FilAm Republicans of Southern Nevada
    Asian American & Pacific Islander (AAPI) Leadership Council;
    Latinos for Trump
    Quiero Saber NV
    MAGA Meet Up Blogger
    Las Vegas Stop the Steal

Marc states, “The election being in limbo is a great opportunity for us to shine the light on and to audit our election process in California, Nevada and Arizona. While good faith efforts were made to increase participation especially during COVID, we must simultaneously balance this convenience out with anti-fraud mechanisms such as voter ID verification and proper deadlines for counting that don’t open things up to funny business. If American Idol can count 130 million votes almost instantly, we can do better than a dragged out fiasco and weeks of counting which does no one any good.”

AIB2B’s recent event in Walnut, CA, a family fair at a church, was the target of harassment by the LA County Health Department leading up to and at the actual event. This was documented live and heavily covered by local media such as ABC, NBC, Telemundo, OC Register and national publications like Breitbart and Epoch Times. Past rallies were covered by Fox News National, CBS, KCRW, Asian Journal and lots of independent media. Other events including one of Asian Industry B2B’s members efforts putting up Hollywood-style Trump signs all over California (some taken down on private property, such as the Getty pass 405 one) have been covered extensively by media as well.

After a busy season of conservative themed events, Asian Industry B2B (AIB2B) continues its fight, now on the election integrity front. The next event will be held in Georgia on December 6th as AIB2B gears up to fight for the special Senate election in Georgia.
